GolfDayPro
Management System
ONE of the more difficult administrative tasks associated with corporate golf days is the invitation and RSVP process. Thankfully a proprietary system developed by GOLFSelect has been designed specifically to save you significant time and effort in the administering and managing of your day. The GolfDayPro online system draws upon extensive experience gained from running thousands of dedicated golf events at various venues throughout the world and is guaranteed to make your golf day organisation easy. Impress your clients with a personalised, professionally designed, company-branded golf day invitation and upload guest names and send bulk invites with the push of a button. In addition to group and alphabetical player lists, GolfDayPro also enables the organiser to print out name tags, bag tags, group cards, scorecard stickers and more.
Golfers love to know how they are going on course. GolfDays mobile scoring and live leaderboard functionality provides this and more on players’ own mobile devices. Working across all mobile operating systems and without the need to download or purchase apps, hole scores are entered by players as they make their way around the course. Instant access to real time leaderboards is immediately available on all players’ mobile devices. Players can view hole descriptions, tips and sponsor logos as they play each hole.Â
To keep the suspense of the day intact, the leaderboard is automatically turned off after 14 holes. Those attendees not playing in the golf day can view the live leaderboard in the clubhouse on any internet-enabled television.

TaylorMade R15 Driver
CONTINUING the popular ‘R’ series of drivers, TaylorMade has launched the R15, its most technologically sophisticated, high-performance driver ever. Offered in both black and white and featuring a desirable, playable pear-shape in two head sizes – 460cc and 430cc – TaylorMade expects the R15 to become its No.1 played driver on tour this year.
Bringing back the ‘R’ franchise started with breakthrough adjustability and the R15’s lower and more forward centre of gravity (CG) location. With its new Front Track system, adjusting a TaylorMade driver has never been quicker or easier: Inside the track system are two sliding split weights that weigh 12.5 grams each (25g total). The R15 clubhead has 5g more discretionary mass to maneuver and is 4g lighter than the popular SLDR. Using a torque wrench, the golfer can loosen and slide the weights to the heel for a draw, to the toe for a fade or split for maximum stability. R15 incorporates the company’s most adjustable loft-sleeve, giving golfers the ability to alter their face angle, lie angle and loft preference to affect side-to-side trajectory. A simple rotation of the loft-sleeve system allows you to choose from 12 distinct settings that makes incremental changes in the lie and the loft/face angle (range is 4 degrees).
Together, the sliding split weights and loft-sleeve enable golfers to adjust their R15 driver with extreme precision.
Company research indicates that a 17-degree launch angle and a 1700 rpm spin rate promote the best combination of carry and roll-out at every swing speed, resulting in maximum distance under normal playing conditions. The designs of both the R15 460 and the R15 430 represent the next step forward for all golfers to achieve maximum distance through optimal launch conditions.

Big Bertha
Alpha 815 Hybrids
ENGINEERED to deliver a more penetrating trajectory, enhanced ball speed and adjustability in a complete distance hybrid for better players, Callaway’s new Big Bertha Alpha 815 Hybrid has been designed with a compact head shape that has limited offset. The compact shape and rounded half pear toe profile provide a look that many better players prefer. To control the trajectory and provide a more penetrating ball flight with less spin, Callaway engineers used an Internal Standing Wave and sole weighting that move the centre of gravity (CG) low and forward. A forged Hyper Speed Face Cup delivers high speed at every impact location for greater overall distance. The Big Bertha Alpha 815 Hybrids also feature Callaway’s OptiFit Adjustability, which offers an eight-way adjustability for loft and lie angle. Â
Powered by a Fujikura Speeder 865 shaft, the Alpha 815 hybrid has a recommended retail price of $339.99.
